I love black ink. It's glamorous, elegant, striking, and simply beautiful. Here's my take on Kiley's methodology for bringing black into the light. 

 

Materials Used: 

1. 300 Pound White Cardstock
2. Sum-e Ink
3. Skewer for making dots
4. Copic Opaque White Ink for highlights and detail
5. Various Round Brushes (used only for Sum-e since its so caustic) 
6.  For applying Folk Details I used a Zebra G Nib and straight holder

 

 

I smudged this one. Grrr, hate when that happens (and it happens a lot).
