Hi Rebekah, after taking a closer look at your project I have to say I like the amount of work that you put in. Taking notes, following the steps from video materials, making horizontal lines for proportions... great stuff. :)There are just a few suggestions that I would like to make. Suggestions that I feel could help you in your further path at becoming better at drawing. So here they are. Sometimes I feel like you're going over lines more than a couple of time and they become too stiff. Relax, don't worry if they don't come out exactly the way you want them to. Try to keep the lines flow out of your hand, don't come back another 5 times over them. Make a second drawing instead, third, fourth, as much as you need but try to keep it as simple as possible. I know I've been guilty of these things as well but I'm trying to overcome it with more work. As I see it the main reason for this is insecurity. Insecurity of line-making that can be overcome just by better understanding the subject matter and practice. So it's not enough just to understand how objects are constructed to be able to draw them successfully. And it's really not enough just to practice drawing without the real understanding of objects construction. You, and I, all of us actually have to have both in order to get better at drawing. :)Second thing is make the lines lighter. That is to say to make less pressure on pencil while drawing. Especially at the starting stages of each drawing. Once you are sure you got the right line you can go over it with a thicker line but try to make it one take. Pay attention to proportions as I feel that on some of the drawings legs are too short or the torso is to long. You can look for inspiration in books or on my Pinterest board about human anatomy.
