Neighborhood: Eastern part of Helsinki - now a slum for unemployables.

A paragraph of character description:

 

Andrew lives in a world where most people are satisfied socially, emotionally, and intellectually through (social) media. People rarely see a reason to interact much in the real world and instead indulge in virtual and augmented reality. Andrew is not satisfied by this. He requires more emotionally and intellectually. He misses the good old times of where people actually interacted with each other and shared their ideas about the world in person. Therefore he craves a deep bond with someone else - a real relationship. However, this is difficult for him as he is insecure and somewhat socially awkward at times. In addition to this, people are just no longer used to deeper real life interaction and find it odd when he wants to see them offline rather than online. Andrew likes to blame the world for all of this but he fails to see that perhaps it’s also partially his fault, as he is a person who tends to overestimate himself and his abilities.
