As a hand lettering artist, I am always looking for ways to enhance my lettering projects. Practicing doodles in this class was a fun way to get more comfortable with creating illustrative elements and I was able to combine ideas from the class to create this piece, which I completed in celebration of National Ice Cream Day. 

This doodle was created on mixed media paper using a Tombow Fudenosuke pen (hard tip) and a Uni Signo white pen for details.
