This is fantastic! I'm so impressed with how cleanly you carved your line work, especially on the planter. The textural marks within the plant are really nice as well. If you're wanting to achieve a completely solid color fill in your final print, there are a couple possible factors at play. The first thing to try would be just a little more pressure during the print. If your paper has even the slightest bit of texture to it, these results are super common. More pressure will help press the ink into that texture. A *tiny* bit more ink could help as well, again depending on your paper choice. The other thing you can try switching up is the ink color; not all pigments are equal! Often times, especially with water based inks, yellows and bright colored pigments do not have as nice of opacity or smoothness and are more challenging to create solid prints with. Some times I find troubleshooting my prints in black ink helpful so I can narrow in which variable is causing the issue. The green is so fun though. Thanks so much for sharing your work!
