A Bird's Nest

A Bird's Nest - student project

This is the Class Project from my newest class: Acrylic Painting: A Bird's Nest where I demonstrate step-by-step how to paint with acrylics.

It's one of series of 'studies' to encourage anyone who wants to learn how to paint with acrylics to practice regularly to grow their painting skills.

To prepare for the class, you can download the Materials List, several Photo References and the Final Paintings all found under the Projects and Resources Tab below the class video.

In a nutshell, you'll need:

• Acrylic paint

• A surface to paint on

• Some brushes

                    and a few other supplies.

This is a great series for anyone who would like regular practice painting in acrylics, so I hope you give it a go!

I also have a more contemporary-style bird nest tutorial on my YouTube Channel, Creatively B, if you're interested.

If you've never painted in acrylics, you may want to take my introduction class called, Beginning Acrylics: Introduction to Acrylics and the Painting Process.
