Just wanted to check in, I’ve completed prepping my 100 page sketchbook, as demonstrated in video lecture #19. 
Some pages are prepped just as Shiela Finch shows, leaving plenty of room for details at the bottom of the page. Others are mostly full (prepped) pages, some distinct boarders, others messy. I’ve also added a tint to the gesso on a few of the pages for added challenges, as well as panoramic layouts (2 pages). 
Probably should have used a little more water on my brush when applying the gesso, but ah well, next book! So I’ve placed binder clips on it to rest flat for a bit and put it in a warm room to settle.
 I plan to do something everyday even if for just 20-30 minutes. This book is small enough I can pack it with me thru the holidays and not miss the rhythm of that small half hour for me til the holiday bustle has subsided. 
Next project to add to this will be creating the color palette swatch book.
