Hello GabiI am so delighted that you are challenging yourself to draw the 100 hands exercise. The purpose of this exercise to really explore new variations of how you normally draw. This exploration will enhance your drawing skills.Your beginning stage of this exercise is excellent. If you notice the first and second hand you have drawn are the most detailed and are very similar in style. The third hand is the best because it shows real attention given to the curved shapes if the hand. You don't see as many straight lines in your drawing.Your hands 4 &amp; 5 look rushed and less attention to shape. Especially #4 in the flat areas on the thumb and forefinger. In #5 the thumb is unfinished. Try not to push this exercise but just do a few a day at the most and try to do them on separate pages. We have a tendency to draw the same things alike over and over again. Which ultimately we do not progress in our drawing skills. We all get into this rut...it's just the part of being an artist.If my landscape paintings start looking to muddy or alike then it's time to get away from them and do something totally different like paint a bowl of fruit just using one color with black &amp; white. When I go back to my landscape painting I have a fresh approach and I will have learned something from my monochromatic painting.The same thing applies to the hand studies. Try to keep investigating and go beyond how you normally draw. Try drawing in a new location, or with different lighting, or draw larger... until you start to notice a pattern that is all your own. Then apply what you have learned. You will be amazed at yourself of what you have accomplished.You have excellent drawing skills but you really need to improve on what you are looking at versus what you already know what you are looking at. I would not have written in such detail without knowing your potentials. You have got it but just need to go a step further. I am so proud of you! I can't wait to see what you do next! Best Jennifer

I've started the 100 hand sketches project you assigned. I did modify it to 10 sketches a day for 10 days (might live it to 5 a day for 20 days, though).
