I'm still having some issues with the diagonal stripes... but, I'm sure it will be fixed at some point. 

The dots pattern is fun too, so from both a little example (never mind the small white gap in the dots, that's an export thing... :-) 

So here is a print screen, where you see my work with the rulers. At first, the stripes didn't color correctly, but now I have them under control :-) 

It was actually the bit where Helen talked about the anti alaising problem with the 'cracks' on your screen that got me into: I want to create that, on purpose :-) Cause you get that nice depth in the chevron. This is what is turned out to become.
