Class Planning - Astro-Portrait Photography
Class Title:
Astro-Portrait Photography - Advanced Photography Tutorial
Class Description:
Are you tired of doing the same old naturally lit, golden hour park photos with your clients? Finding it difficult to stand out in the ever-growing crowd of digital photographers in your area?
My name is Lindsey King and a few years ago I was a wedding and portrait photographer that found myself in the same exact same rut, fighting my creative boredom and the competition, getting more and more frustrated by the day.
That is until I discovered the delightfully unique style of photography I call Astro portraits - beautiful and enchanting photos of my clients underneath sparkling starry skies.
Once I added these stunning and unique sessions to my offerings, I saw my wedding, engagement and portrait bookings increase significantly. And you guys? The feedback I got was incredible. Clients were thrilled to have these special, non-photoshopped images to hang on their wall and many of them told me they booked me specifically for this kind of image.
So, in this class, I am going to show you how to do the exact same thing from start to finish. By the end of the class, you will have created a stunning and unique portrait that you can offer to increase your bookings and stun your clients.
This class is best suited for intermediate or professional photographers as the equipment required is somewhat advanced. But for my hobbiest friends, don’t walk away just yet! I will include a couple of hacks for achieving the same results with common household items so you can still give this process a shot.
Class Projects:
1) Take a photo of the stars at night (no subject)
2) Take a photo with one person with the basic lighting set up
3) Take a start photo with one or more people using one of the special effects.
4) Take a final image with a couple using the setup/effects you like the most.
5) Submit a sample pricing sheet/booking plan.
