As a sideproject I chose to get into building 3d spaceship miniatures. I always tend to draw or animate spaceships, so it basically just meant following my instincts.

What I did, and still do, is just following three steps: 

1. collecting // plastic trash with interesting looks (caps, bottles, pens) 
2. creating // the ship itself - and paint it, I chose gold
3. launching  // staging the final model in 

Since building and creation is my main focus, I did not care so much about perfection. So you still see glue lines and some ships are not symmetrical.

To finally launch the ship, I got to do and practice so many useful and different skills, like lighting:

And I even created a logo.
