Sample project Quick Watercolor Gift Tags
Hi everyone!
Below you will find photos of some of the tags that I made for the class. I had such fun making my tags, that I made a big stash of tags which will last me for quite some time.
I had such fun playing around with acrylic gels, masking liquid, stencils and paint.
For my class projects, I used left-over pieces of watercolour paper and the tags are of many different sizes.
Depending on the gel or paste that you use, some of the watercolour paint will dry on top of the gel, giving the tags a great texture. If you want a cleaner look, you can wipe the paint off from the gel with a slightly moist cloth, once it is dry.
I made tags for lots of different occasions, but most of them are general and will work for almost any theme.
These three tags were only done using masking liquid.
I used lots of different stencils in the class. But you can also make your own stencils, or use dies to cut your own stencils.
I hope you will enjoy playing around with this technique as much as I did!
Happy crafting!
