Project Inspiration:

This summer I went camping for the first time on a safari and I wish we would have had these beautiful Emalco mugs during our hiking breaks!

Favorite Emalco Mug:

I love the hug mug - the way it uses the mug shape to inform the design is just so smart.

My crazy art board as I was working on ideas:

Design 1:

I wanted to try a design that took advantage of the vertical layout described in the class -- the long neck of a giraffe seemed to be a great visual for the vertical wrap.

Design 2:

I love the idea that everyone should be comfortable in their own skin - or in this hippo's case, comfortable in his stripes!

This was such a fun design exercise. It was great to learn about enamel and how Emalco makes their products -- and to have the opportunity to think about a 3D design!
