Before you Decide
Before You Decide: Stay, Pause, or Leave is a digital self-help guide I created for wives who have just discovered a partner's cheating and don't know what they want yet.
The problem I chose: Many women in this situation hide it, lie awake at night, and get advice that tells them either to leave immediately or to stay quiet. I wanted to build something calmer: a private place to think before deciding.
What I made: A 7-day private plan, about 20 minutes a day, in three phases: Understand (sort what you know from what you fear), Act (calm the nights, set a boundary around checking his phone, and prepare a calm conversation only if it is safe), and Sustain (choose one next step and build a 30-day plan to stay steady).
What's inside: A quick-win writing exercise, a Fact Sheet, a 2AM Spiral-Stopper card, a conversation script, a Stay, Pause, or Leave worksheet, and a 30-day tracker. I also made two bonus guides, one with ready-to-use messages for family and friends and one on keeping the guide private on a phone.
My process: I defined a specific reader, researched the topic, outlined the content, and wrote the guide with honest limits: it does not promise to save a marriage, and it points to professional and safety help. It is educational, not therapy.
The cover: It uses deep green and gold to feel calm and private.
One thing to decide: if the assignment asks for a student-style reflection, you may want to add a sentence or two about what you learned or what was hard. I can write that in your voice. Tell me what the lesson asked you to cover, and I'll match it.
