Thank you for your advice.

Hello, first of all thank you for this awesome class, I had a blast keeping up with you and the advices you kept giving here and there.
One of the advices that stuck the most to me was editing the music so that it fits the story / moment you wanna share, and that it fits with the video.
My first videos were a bit dull as in i would just use music for background sound (the one thing u said that we shouldn't be doing). I would never worry about the music and didn't give much of a sense to it, figured if the video was good enough and the edits as well, the music would be ignored. How wrong could I be?
So after I heard your advice, I just opened a new project, picked a random phonk song online and started playing around with it, cutting here and there.
So i'm like "hey let's try and add some of my gaming footage see if it would be possible for me to match it with what is going on".
Turns out it was possible quite easily, and at some point the character did a knee kick that fit NICELY with the drop on the song.
After that I got inspired and just kept going and ended up doing a whole project that I wasn't even expecting.

Here's the timeline :

It's even nicer because I ended up making a mix and match of multiple footages (different characters in this game) and I did my best to make the end of the music fit accordingly with the video footage...which would be me beating the boss (since it already has a cool animation to it on the game). Ended up posting it on youtube, because why not, might be fun to come back to it later in my life and remember the journey.
Thank you for inspiring me to make this project with a better vision, and thank you so much for this journey. Will definitely be watching your other classes because I enjoyed how chill you are and how smoothly you explained your thoughts during the lesson.
Have a great day!
