That gimp step is magic!! It made it so easy to create the repeating texture tile--gamechanger! Now that I've tried this once, I think I will be more cautious to not have as much variation in the texture, as (although it was also quite magic) I don't want to use the clone stamp tool as much next time. I'll show you my pattern of watercolour flowers on a plain deep teal background, followed by the same layers on my new textured teal watercolour background.
