I'm so glad I squeezed this class in before I start my next week of "100 Days of Collage"! So fun and wonderful to hear it was born from the 100 Days class.  I am still experimenting with what I want to put on my 8x8 covered canvas but I think this will be it: 

I haven't glued it down yet - I think I'll just have to go for it and add something later if I'm not happy. 😆 But I'm so excited to start my week three of 100 Days that I just wanted to post a progress shot on this class and ponder it for a while.  

It was great fun experimenting with lifting prints on a variety of papers that I have and seeing what textures would show through. I have so so many papers I've used for printing photos: mulberry papers, Unryu, rice papers a funky blue cloud paper that I used for a book cover.... Fun!  I didn't have a stencil I liked so instead I made a guitar cut out from several gel prints I've collected.  The main one is a "botched" image transfer and I like it for this application because the texture on the body of the guitar is what showed up from my husband's hair in the image transfer so it makes a nice "grain" for the guitar and since he is the one who plays it seemed appropriate! 😁

Well, I am off to week three of the 100 Days...
