Wow, this is beautiful. I love the granulating effect of the paint, and the salt has worked wonderfully. I often find that granulating paints don't work very well with salt. Out of curiosity, what were you using?

Thank you Jane, so kind of you. I actually used almost all same paints as you - DS Sodalite genuine, Lavender and Goethite brown ochre. I don't have the other DS colors, so instead of Sepia I used Paul Ruben's Vandyke brown and a bit of Cadmium orange. I don't have tubes, it's all halfpans. Normal kitchen salt and paper is Baohong artists wc paper. 

Oh that Baohong paper is interesting isn’t it! Sometimes I love it, other times I’m not so sure! But it’s worked beautifully here for you. Sorry, I only just saw the comment below the hate regarding the pencil marks. It’s tricky if you can’t erase them at this point you’re probably stuck with them. The trick in the first place is not to go too heavy maybe you used a different pencil than you usually do?

Same pencil, but new block of paper. Oh well, just stuck with it then. Indeed I need to do much lighter sketch next time!

love the colors used. However somehow I was not able to erase the pencil marks so well this time. I always use same paper, same pencils, same eraser... any tips?
