I had a lot of fun with this painting. I love blue fairy wrens and I once took a photograph of one sitting on a bright red waratah, so I knew this had to be my subject matter. The only unfortunate thing was I ran out of dark blue paint for the background and had to mix more but it was just a shade too light so I had to fix up with a new background in Photoshop. Rookie error! Thanks Kate for another fun and inspirational class.
