Another enjoyable bird project. Love the complimentary colors. Typically I use Fabriano paper, 140lb, 300 gsm, 25% cotton for practice pieces then Arches cold press, 140 lb, 300 gsm, 100% cotton for finale pieces. Paints I use are Da  Vinci and Daniel Smith. Brushes are synthetic.
