Underwater Animals in Watercolors: Tropical Fish, Octopus, Jellyfish

Donna- you got some great dark depths of color here!  I also really like how you enhanced the shape of the head and tentacles by having a darker edge of color and a lightness in the middle.  Very well done!

cool! You have really shown the octopus' form. They are so fascinating to me. The colors are great.

Thanks, Kris!   Octopi (?) are very fascinating.

Hmm, I don't know. Where are the damn English majors when you need them? I was trying to say the form belonging to the octopus.  Referring to the way you shaped  the creature's form. Not the multiple of many octopi. Have you read "Remarkably Bright Creatures," by Shelby Von Pelt? It is a wonderful read about a cleaning lady in an aquarium and an octopus.

No, I haven't read that but it sounds interesting!  Thanks for mentioning!

very good, those white suction cups very real. like little teeth!

Really  great  movement in the  octopus Donna 🐙

This was a fun class to watch and to paint along with. Thanks!
