Telling Stories With Comics 1: Characters & Sequence

Hi Suzette, the thing that struck me first was how nice this pairing of pen and pencil looks together with your way of drawing. It's so simple and it works. The pencil is not too harsh and provides a pleasant textured midtone, and also this sense of movement or energy that goes with this scene.  And it helps that you provided enough contrast with the solid black areas for the characters. I like the 3 moments you chose to capture. I think this works so well. The hand-drawn lines are imperfect, which is what makes it "perfect" to me. It's so nice! Thanks for sharing!
