Class Projects - Four Patterns

First pattern: Crazy swirls. Can't wait to create the rest. I made this one a bit of a challenge by adding so many segments- I had to print the pattern out and find the mismatched colors. This resembles stained glass and it's a pretty technique. The color palette is pretty, too.

Second pattern: Damask - started with the more traditional damask, I plan on coming back with a more modern one as well (I love the black background Jennifer uses). I love the two-toned look of traditional damask and the honeybee brushes are so cool.

Third pattern: Diamond florals. This was a challenge! I did use a sketch and plan ahead on how the pattern would look, both design and color wise, but the finished pattern to me has an annoying straight line where the stem is, and the color isn't disbursed as I'd like. I did go back and cover this area with more blue flowers to offset the straight line.

Fourth Pattern, curly branches: Took a lot longer than I imagined, but very cute and fun to play with colors. Appreciate the bird sketches to start us off -
