I completed both the Artmother's cat and an independent study of a fox. It was a good mindful exercise to make the additional value palettes.  I tried to choose colors that were not my usual favourites. I really enjoyed the theory of this class and have already tried to apply the value layer in other projects.  I am hoping that I applied the lesson concepts to make improvements in both of these artworks! Some areas might need a little additional tweaking.
