Watercolour Floral: Painting Hellebore Flowers Step by Step

Hi Sabine - this is a lovely painting. You’ve used a very harmonious colour palette which I think has worked well, especially that you’ve put some of the blue sky colour in the petals. I really like the crop that you’ve made too. You’ve also achieved some beautifully soft shading on the petals, a great contrast with the detailed seed centres. When I painted the flowers I felt something was missing, so I painted a background. Now I see that I completely forgot the darker details.  😂 I might add them later.
