Two silly dogs

Though this class was only 20 minutes of video, I probably spent around 30 hours trying to implement the lessons learned and get to a point I was happy with... and let me tell you: I think this exercise helped me develop my skills SO MUCH.

I watched and re-watched the lessons and also learned so much from everyone else by scrolling through the class projects.

Thank you for this class which helped push me so much!

Let me introduce you to my mother's dogs:

This is Poppy, a complete goofball who loves rolling around, sleeping in weird positions on her back with her paws in the air, and chasing tennis balls.

And this is Tofu, who is Poppy's slightly older sister, but always acts like she's seen some sh*t. She's always brooding, and seems like she's staring into your soul. Not only is she not chasing tennis balls with Poppy, but she's not about to be running anywhere—she walks with more of a saunter.

It was so fun to try to bring out their personalities with these pieces, and I also printed them and gifted them to my mom for her office!

I'll be posting more of my illustration journey over at https://gabriellaetc.substack.com and instagram.com/sadtouristart
