Social Media Marketing

Since I manage social media, registration, and fundraising for Burrell Youth Wrestling, I answered these questions from the perspective of the families we serve. Our primary audience is parents who are looking for a positive, affordable, and rewarding activity for their children. By identifying their needs, challenges, and motivations, I can create a social media strategy that goes beyond simply promoting registration. Instead, it allows me to consistently provide valuable content that builds trust, educates new families, and strengthens our wrestling community.

Understanding our target audience's pain points and developing content around those needs will help Burrell Youth Wrestling grow the program in a meaningful way. By creating a mix of promotional and educational content, I can increase awareness of our program, encourage new registrations, improve participation in fundraising efforts, strengthen relationships with current families, and attract community sponsors and supporters. This strategy helps establish Burrell Youth Wrestling as more than just a sports program—it positions us as a community that develops confident, disciplined, and successful young athletes both on and off the mat.

• Understanding how youth wrestling works and whether it's appropriate for beginners.

• Balancing busy family schedules with practices and tournaments.

• Keeping children active and engaged outside of school.

• Finding a supportive, encouraging community for both parents and athletes.
