This was such a fun and meaningful project! I used to sew all the time in my younger years so when I inherited my mom's sewing machine I jumped at this project. My mom passed away about 8 months ago and one thing I really wanted to do was use some of her clothes in a sewing project of some kind and gift some things to family members. So in this pouch I used one of her sundresses as the liner. ❤️ And I gotta say, it was pretty tough emotionally pulling out her machine and going through the manual with all her notes and many times I wanted to call her to ask how to do X, Y or Z, but honestly having Dylan there walking me through everything made it all more manageable. I feel so accomplished! I think mom would be thrilled at the result. I want to disassemble a bunch of costume jewelry of hers and make some zipper pulls with them. Thanks Dylan!
