Hi! 

I'm 18 years old, and I found this course immensely helpful. In my previous year, I started to feel anxious about financial literacy, making me make less wise decisions regarding money. For the first time, I am being honest with myself, and in the budgets I have. Many people shy away from this, as you said, because of the restrictions, and some do not want to face that truth.

Due to the very vast schedule I had in June with exams, it was nearly impossible to get a part-time job. After my last year, I learnt to finish my resume months in advance and apply early to increase my chances of being chosen. This Summer, I will be spending my weeks as a Recess Coach for Summer School. I'm very proud of the steps I am taking.

With regards to my budget, I was so surprised to see my money being wasted on subscription fees that I hadn't previously known where they were! Thankfully, a while back, I took the time to cancel each one, and now I make sure that I make a note to cancel subscriptions that are not needed. It made me more conscious of the necessary and unnecessary things. For instance, beauty maintenance, the list is never ending, but I only focus on one non-negotiable for me,😀 which makes me feel better, whilst the rest, I do them myself.
