LOVE  your effects.. the steam, the dotted background in the teacup piece... nice job.

Thank you!! I’m a texture lover, so figuring out how to do that (and do it efficiently) in Designer is a big thing for me to figure out! 

Me Too. Have not figured it out much yet… I tried adding texture in a pixel layer and it messed up the canvas somehow. When I export the work it only shows in my photos as a blank canvas in some apps LOL

Also how did you get your signature in there ? I have a Procreate signature but none in affinity….

Oh no! I haven’t run into exporting issues yet. But I’ve hear rumors that could be an issue. 🤔 Oooh the signature thing! This one was a fairly easy solve!!  I stamped it in PC in a mid tone gray and exported as a transparent PNG. I used Place to import that into Designer and saved it as an asset! Now I can just drag it into all my projects!! I’ve actually done with this some of my fave pattern brushes from procreate. I save them as a transparent PNG and use bitmap fill to add them (and have a couple saved as an asset). It might not be the most effective way, but it’s working at the moment!

This was a great class!! The pacing is good and the instructions are detailed enough for complete beginners! I enjoyed making my lil teacup and plants!
