Abstract Watercolor Escape - Part 4: Bold Colors and Relaxing Patterns

AWEsome and FABulous Class!!! I'm catching up with AWE 4, 5 & 6 as its my summer break and school is out! 🙌 🔺❇️➰✴️ 🥰
I couldn't do it as neat as I would like to --- but the colors were really bold! So i let it be and explored step by step. Ahhh... so relaxing to see the watercolors do their thing!
Below with white margins: i didn't have neuro graphic lines yet because i was tentative. But it didn't take long for me to start adding them. You never know if you don't try. And my intention was to really discover and play -- as well as relax and just savor this refreshing process.
I like both. But the one with neuro graphic lines above seemed more joyful --- and i was quite intent on feeding my mind with it because it seemed so comforting - can't explain - but it does help that i'm not rushing to do anything else.

At first I thought "I'm done!" because i was excited to frame it. I was thinking of offering it as a present to my Dad this Sunday as we're celebrating Father's Day. But i think I will give him something else. I think this is really meant for me - strange that i feel this way - but I guess it had to do with this personal process. I also thought of what my Dad would really enjoy, properly putting myself in his shoes.
Meanwhile, as mentioned earlier i was hesitant to add neuro-graphic lines so here they are individually. No planning, just making things that i think would be interesting for me, and not trying to be symmetrical or matching things. It was FUN FUN FUNnnnnn.... :D :D :D

Interpretation came later, when i had to arrange the four pieces... and only intuitively

I observed that i was slowly getting "brave" in adding the black ink shapes - i went from one piece to the other if i lingered longer or when i felt i was overthinking.

I made my own twist to the Fab's fantastic patterns working with the whites and watercolors - i stil get confused with the wavy ones which i really like a lot. Will practice in my next AWE project (5 & 6).

I could not figure out what to do with the big black circle i made (though i liked it as it is) -- and then found its resolution with the neuro graphic lines (in white)... Used a math ruler and my favorite white gelly roll pen and brush pen... remembering Jack's (erhmm!) i mean Fab's suggestions to make it "interesting!" ;D Thank you, Fab! Thank you, Skillshare! 🥰 🎉
