I wanted to go with a color palette I wouldn't ordinarily choose. I tend to gravitate towards jewel-toned blues and greens.

I kept the formula in mind for 1 cool, 3 warm, and 1 neutral. I think the opera pink works as a cool color in this case. Also, I tried to make a black, but it ended up more gray. The truer black swatch was made using ink as opposed to watercolor.

I was also hoping they would look more saturated, so I need to work more on water control.

Overall, I like the colors and want to try doing a painting using this palette.
