What a lovely painting, Katarzyna. The soft colours and gentle transitions give the ducks such a charming, delicate feel, and the loose grass works beautifully with the overall mood. Regarding the gouache, unfortunately it will almost always look slightly different and never as white as the paper because it sits on top of the surface rather than being part of it. It takes a bit of practice but try to leave the white paper untouched where possible, but occasionally mistakes do happen 😊

I wanted to erase some mistakes with white gouache, but it is visible against the white paper. How can I fix that?
