Thank you very much, Anna, for this very interesting class. I revisited a very recent painting because I’m new to watercolor. I was very frustrated with this bouquet, because I really like the colors, but it still felt very flat and lacked depth. Working on the details, even if the changes are not very obvious, helped me a lot. Even though it’s far from perfect, I’m more satisfied with it now.

 

I especially reworked the vase, which is now more blended. I also added some stems so that the flowers wouldn’t look like they were floating, as well as some depth and shadows on the petals.
