Thanks for the feedback, you are right to many competing colors, so I went back and reshuffled everything.

The composition of your first pattern has such a graceful flow, and I love the soft background texture — it gives the pattern a subtle vintage feel.Since there are two different hues involved, I'd say it's a variation of the Cheese &amp; Crackers recipe, but the restrained, tonal approach fits the spirit of the recipe and the low contrast gives it a sophisticated feel.You labeled the second pattern as an Herbs &amp; Spices recipe, which would mean it’s either a warm palette with cool accents or a cool palette with warm accents. I’m not sure either of those fit.I love the palette — it’s very bold — but I feel like the warm and cool colors are competing for attention rather than one acting as an accent for the other.The purple leaves are large and command a lot of attention for a background element. The mustard leaves are also large, and that color sits almost on the opposite side of the color wheel, so the two leaf groups end up competing with each other instead of one supporting the other.I think the palette has a lot of potential, but right now it feels a little too complex for an Herbs &amp; Spices recipe. I would suggest thinking of it more as a Pizza recipe, and maybe evaluating the colorway using the criteria at the end of the Pizza lesson would help you figure out the right hierarchy to better balance your color ingredients. Thanks for sharing your recipe cards!

A very interesting class. I cant say that I absorbed everything but it is nice to be able to go back and tweek colors when things go wrong.
