I wanted to try out as many of my single pigment paints as possible (except cad yellow hue, oh well). After using mostly Winsor Newton Cotman paints, I realized I could feel the difference from the few higher end colors I have and not in a good way. I decided to pick up some new colors I've had my eye on anyway, and it made a huge difference! I LOVE the way my MCY main color wheel came out using professional paints, and the bright colors it mixed are my favorite. Over on my RBY color wheel I had a nasty surprise- I didn't notice that WN Winsor Red PR254 is granulating. So it supergranulated with DS PB29 in an awful way. Good to know!
