What a fun class this was! It has something magical to paint glass and reflections. When you look closely at the painting it doesn't look very good but as soon as you take a bit of distance the pieces fall together. I wanted to make my own painting instead of following the tutorial step by step (see if I could do it) and I am quite please with the result. I would have like to paint a background as well but the reference image didn't have one so I didn't know how to make the reflection look right. So - background stays white. I will give it some more tries as it can definitely be improved but it is encouraging to learn how to approach this and get a quite satisfactory result already. Thank you for a nice class ! (I included the reference image too). I also tried the waterglass practise on darker paper but I found that very difficult, to get sufficient coverage of the white on top of the dark.
