After loving the previous class I took on using loose watercolour techniques for tulips, I thought I would try another of Will's classes. As before, he is thorough and calm in his approach and makes it really to understand not just how he does something but why, which I find really important as it helps me to understand the "why" in the work I create.

The below is my first attempt but I'm going to give myself a break with this and return to this class in a few weeks' time and try again as I want to see how a bit of general practice, using different colours and techniques can shape how the final piece of looks. Regardless, I'm really pleased with how this turned out and feel completely at ease and relaxed. For anyone reading this, I would highly recommend you give it a go!
