Thanks for sharing your project Kim, this is so whimsical and fun! The colored lights matching the colors of your objects are so fun.  Drawing the cat was the most difficult part for me; if you want to make a change, I'd suggest making the head a bit smaller (and wider), and placing the eyes closer to the nose. This will result in the cat looking a bit cuter &amp; tucked into its paws.  For the gingerbread; I'd add a bit of shadow under its feet like you said; this will make it feel less like its floating on the book.  They're just small changes, but they might make it feel a bit more complete. Great work!
