Look, Ma, a Buffalo!

Could not get the buffalo image out of my head after I saw it, so I got him tangled up in some barbed wire.

Another fun project. I should have learned from your lesson not to put four on a page, but had to learn it the hard way. I think if I do a larger piece, I might want to give much more room for the drips, so they dry "mid-air" and not halted by any borders. I like the yellow/blue/brown one - couldn't decide if they were trees or balloons - ha - so I might attempt that one as a large.

The "shadows" under the buffalo and one other one are purely by accident - I tried to wipe the tape to stop the drips, and the edge of the paper towel went up into the painting. Happy little accident. LOL!

I'm discovering that I have a "block" with marks. I never know what kind of marks will look best, when to stop or when to add more. These projects are helping ease the block - and I notice I'm losing a lot of fear as I create, but I still see that I'm being "dainty" with some of them. Ha.

Thanks for all you do, Denise, to help us improve, in skills and in confidence!
