A poem about where I am on my current journey in life

 

I feel that I have awakened. 

Lightbulb going off in my head. 

Previous chains surrounding my brain 

have been broken. 

My energy able to roam freely

finding fresh connections 

with its missing pieces.

As I begin to flow once again

everything I need finds me, 

when I walk the path of the unknown.

To be so clear and calm in a place 

that I once feared.

A true sign of growth.

I must thank my younger self 

for being able to endure,

which led me to this place of empowerment.

A new mark has been set.

May I continue to rise from here

and not regress back.
