After creating a pretty detailed animation using Adobe Illustrator assets, 3D ObJ files, and custom song audio and voice overs, I knew I had to get more organized if I wanted to have success with this workflow in the future.  And because a lot of my process involves downloading stock vector files, I needed to transform this:

into something like this:

Megan's class helped out so much!  No only with Illustrator, but with the whole organization approach needed through the entire process. I had managed to make AI layers more organized, but had no idea how many options exist in AE to make things easier (Compositional markers! Adjustment layers! And being able to search all the dropdown options across layers.  HUGELY HELPFUL!) Great class.  Thanks Megan!
