Branding Building Blocks: Create a Compelling Brand Moodboard

Hi Jonathan! Thanks for sharing your moodboard. It looks wonderful and it totally does feel warm and relaxing with a nod to nature. You included different elements and moments that evoke all the surrounding elements of the inn. My only suggestion is to pick a couple references and tighten it a bit. I love how you zoomed in on the plate of oysters rather than showcasing the whole plate. Same with the cocktail.  Perhaps you can do the same thing with the beach chairs and the the other plate of food. Maybe it can be a closeup of an umbrella instead of the full image. Maybe you can zoom in on the door image so we can see the texture/pattern of the wall more clearly. The more you zoom and crop on each reference, the more curated it will feel and they will come together nicely.

This moodboard feels warm and relaxing at the same time. It’s inspiration taken from the nature and culture that surrounds the Inn.
