Blue Purple Gold and White abstract

I discovered there is a bit of a learning curve with the brayer and the paint palette- when I finally stopped rolling like I was painting a house wall and loosened the pressure and angle, the brayer started rolling smoothly in my paint. 😁

I really love blues, so I picked a metallic blue, gold, purple, and white. My gold got lost in most of them; the blue overpowered everything else. If I were try this again I either need to try 3 colors, and/or deepen my purple to a dark purple. I used a rounded end mark making tool for my squiggles, as well as the catalyst wedge. In the future I'd use one or the other on a single piece. I also used a small sponge to stamp some white on to the blue areas - honestly it was me trying use up my paint, not from any great design plan. I will add the brayer to my ever-growing list of painting tools; thanks Denise!! Loved another of your classes!
