Drawing Is Important: Develop a Sketchbook Habit in 30 Days

30 April 2026 Hi Kristal! Excellent and memorable project. Bears are definitely hard to draw (IMO), but you seem to have a handle on things here! Side-note: I like your Posca organizers. It’s very important to store them sideways or upside down! Thanks for sharing.

These are wonderful! I love the graphic illustrative style. They look amazing against the colorful backgrounds. Fantastic.

Day 7...my process...working on an Asiatic Black Bear.  I LOVE their ridiculously large ears!

I am starting out with images that are more on the realistic side. As I progress,I want to make them increasingly simpler.

sketching online bears and filling in with POSCA pens. I find that I really like these paint pens...a little tricky to get used to.
