I recreated this same scene twice: the first time following Iva's instructions as accurately as I could (but with different brushes), and another time trying to make it more my own. 

What I really liked from Iva's lessons was trying out shading techniques by mixing different colors (e.g. more green and blue together), whereas I usually use blending modes. That's something I'll be experimenting with more! 

One mistake I realized after Airdropping the final image to my computer: I had hard-core nightshift turned on on my iPad, so the colors looked quite different than I expected 😅 Lesson learned! Anyway, I'm not unhappy with how it turned out.
