I enjoyed the experience and challenge of balancing the loose and expressive elements with the finer details. I fiddled around with the bird a lot to get the end result and had to ultimately use a white gel pen for the highlights on the feathers and some of the snow drips. I couldn't achieve the fine lines with the gauche and a small brush.
