Limited color palette
(Scroll down to see it all!)

Without this class, I don't think I would have been very tempted to start drawing a hiking boot or a denim jacket, but both proved to be unique challenges to get me to try something new!

I tried to use the same illustration style, motifs such as leaves, and shading techniques throughout all the images as well, to add to the cohesision beyond just the color palette.
I really appreciate the dual brush, which was a game changer for me! When drawing snakes or similar objects that need to be equal width, I used to try to measure out the spacing either visually, or using a shape duplicated over and over again as a reference. 😅 Thanks for that, Liz!

I didn't end up using the brighter blue in every single illustration, and I think that's fine because when looked at as a whole, it pops a bit more in the illustrations that do use it.

I'll be posting more of my illustration journey over at https://gabriellaetc.substack.com/!
