I used one main brush that I pretty much always use in my illustrations from a pack I purchased, then two other brushes; one for the mossy texture (procreate), and the other for the speckle stone texture (from the same purchased pack). The idioms and phrases was so helpful! At first I wanted to use a bat for my Valentine's card (batty, hanging out), but opted for the Love You To Death phrase as it's also one of my fav Type O Neg songs. The design is inspired from the romantic idea of being buried next to your lover and all the gorgeous older headstones 😌
