This was on cold-press watercolor paper, something I've wanted to experiment with.  it was based on a photo I took, but I added the blue sky and yellow sun for contrast and balance. I used dry and wet blending and burnished with a burnishing pencil and white. I like the "course" look, but the background could use more work. I learned a lot from this class.
